A simple, soft and chewy granola bars recipe that’s delicious as-is or can be adapted based on your favorite dried fruits or nuts 🙏🏻forgive me for the 1/4 cup butter , it s divided on 15 bars so u ll have ~ nothing in one portion 😉

 

INGREDIENTS
  •  2 cups old fashioned rolled oats.
  •  1/2 cup almonds (chopped).
  •  1/3 cup honey.
  •  1/4 cup unsalted butter (pieces).
  •  1/4 cup light brown sugar.
  •  1/2 tsp vanilla extract.
  •  1/4 tsp salt.
  •  1/2 cup dried cranberries.
  •  1/4 cup chocolate chips.
DIRECTIONS
1. Mix oats and almonds, add them into a baking greased tray.
2. Bake for 5 min, stir and bake for additional 3-5 min until toasted. Transfer them to a larger bowl.
3. In a saucepan, combine butter, honey, brown sugar and vanilla on a medium heat, until butter is melted & sugar is dissolved.
4. Pour butter mix into toasted oats and almonds. Mix well and let it cools for 5 minutes.
5. Add dried cranberries & chocolate chips.
6. Transfer oat mix to a lined pan, then use a rubber spatula to firmly press the mix into the pan.
7. Press more chocolate chips on the top (if desired).
8. Refrigerate for 2 hours before cutting them into bars.
