I tried Chef May Yaacoubi’s Atayef Magical recipe! 
I’ve tried so many recipes but Guys believe me this is the best one!!!.
You need for try it ASAP 🤩
INGREDIENTS
    •  1 cup semolina.
    • 2 cups flour.
    •  1 cup milk.
    •  2 cups warm water.
    •  3 Tbs sugar.
    •  1/2 tsp salt.
    •  2 1/4 tsp baking powder.
    •  1/4 tsp baking soda( if not available add 1/4 tsp baking powder).
DIRECTIONS
1. Add wet ingredients in a blender.
2. Then dry ones. Mix for 3 minutes.
3. Make sure that all ingredients are well incorporated.
4. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
5. Now you can spoon the batter onto a pan. (The pan you usually use for pancakes). Make sure that the pan is well heated before adding the mixture to it.
6. The quantity you add depends on the size you want.
7. Once you put the batter lower the heat to medium.
8. Batter will form holes, when it’s almost dry remove the atayef from heat.
9. Cover it with a towel so it stays soft.
10. You can serve it either with achta, cheese or walnuts.
11. For cheese ones, soak ikkawi cheese in warm water for few hours in order to get rid of salt, drain it well, then stuff atayef with it. Close it. Put them on a baking tray with butter and a bit of oil( so that butter does not burn). And bake it until it’s golden.
12. Serve with sugar syrup.
