INGREDIENTS
For the base:
  •  250g digestive biscuits(powdered).
  •  100g butter(melted).
For the cheese layer:
  •  4 Tbsp cream cheese or 4 cream cheese cubes.
  •  1/2 Cup Sugar.
  •  1 cup Milk powder.
  •  170g Greek yoghurt or keymar cream.
For the Basbousa Layer:
  •  1/2 cup semolina.
  •  1/2 cup milk powder.
  •  170g cream.
  •  1/2 cup sugar.
  •  1/2 tsp baking powder.
  •  1/2 cup oil.
  • Sugar syrup.
DIRECTIONS
To make the base:
1. Mix together the powdered biscuits and butter till well combined. 2. In a 25 cm springform pan, place the biscuit butter mix and press it well onto the base of the pan.
 
To make the cheese layer:
1. Mix all the ingredients for cheese layer using a blender or cake mixer. 2. Blend till smooth. 3. Pour over the biscuit base. 4. Bake for 10 minutes in a 180C preheated oven.
 
To make the Basbousa layer:
1. Mix all the ingredients, using a mixer, for a minute. 2. Pour this over the cheese layer. Spread evenly. 3. Bake for 20-25 minutes till golden brown on top.( you might need less or more, it depends on the oven). 4. Once out of the oven, pour the sugar syrup all over. 5. Refrigerate for an hour. 6. Heat slightly for about 10 seconds in a microwave oven before eating.
