“Oriental Rice” aka Mansaf, It’s a well know dish in many Arabic countries. Today, I am sharing with you the lebanese style oriental rice. INGREDIENTS 1 kg Lamb cutlets ( you can substitute it with a whole chicken, or chicken legs).  A whole onion, carrot, cinnamon stick,Laurel leaves for boiling meat.  300 g minced meat.  1.5 cup Basmati rice.  1 medium sized onion (chopped).  2 Tbs veg. Oil.  3 cups broth (from lamb cutlets or chicken).  1 tsp cinnamon.  1/2 tsp black pepper.  1 tsp salt.  Nuts for garnishing (dried raisins, almonds, cashews, pistachios). DIRECTIONS 1. In a pressure cooker, sauté lamb cutlets (chicken) with a Tbs of veg. Oil. Then cover it with hot water, remove froth , add a whole onion, carrot, cinnamon stick, Laurel leave.
