Choco-Oat Cookies
Who said you canโ€™t enjoy sweet treats while on a diet?!
๐–ณ๐—‹๐—’ ๐—๐—๐–พ๐—Œ๐–พ ๐—–๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ฐ๐—ผ-๐—ข๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ธ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐˜€, ๐—’๐—ˆ๐—Ž ๐—๐—ˆ๐—‡’๐— ๐—‹๐–พ๐—€๐—‹๐–พ๐— ๐—‚๐—!
INGREDIENTS
  • ย 3/4 cup cacao.
  • ย 1 cup oat (blended).
  • ย 1 mashed banana.
  • ย 1/2 cup maple syrup.
  • ย 1.5 Tbs coconut oil.
  • ย 1 tsp vanilla.
  • ย 1 tsp baking powder.
  • ย 1 tsp cinnamon.
  • ย 1/4 tsp salt.
  • ย Chocolate chips.
DIRECTIONS
1. Mix oat, cacao, cinnamon, salt & baking powder.
2. In another bowl, mix banana, maple syrup, vanilla & coconut oil.
3. Add wet ingredients into dry ones.
4. Mix until well incorporated.
5. Add chocolate chips, cover & chil for 20 minutes.
6. Roll into balls, press it with the bottom of a cup.
7. Add more chocolate chips.
8. Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 min.

 

Tips to have the best cookies:
1. if you are not a fan of dark chocolate, substituted 1/3 cup of caco powder with 1/4 cup of oat flour/ all purpose flour or whole wheat flour.
2. Always use the ripest banana.
3. If you feel that the dough is too dry and not coming out together, add 1/4 banana.
4. When you get your cookies out from the oven, remover them directly from the baking pan and let them cool on a rack.
