A childhood dessert!!
INGREDIENTS
  • 5 eggs
  • 600 ml milk
  • 250g sugar (~ 1.75 cup)
  • Vanilla
  • Lemon zest
Take a minute and enjoy this beauty 
Some helpful tips:
  • The pan should be non-stick
  • do not stir the sugar, just swirl the pan to ensure even colouring.
  • Heat milk do not boil.
  • Leave the remekins to cool.
  • Chill for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  • To turn out each caramel, run the point of a sharp knife arounfd the top edge of each ramekin, place a dessert plate on top and invert.
