Why buying ready donuts when you can make them at home?! Why?!
Here is my mom’s recipe,
With simple ingredients and so easy way, you will make the fluffiest, yummiest doughnuts!

INGREDIENTS
1. Dough:
                  • 4 cups flour
                  •  1/2 cup powdered sugar
                  •  1 1/2 warm milk
                  •  3/4 cup Butter (room temperature)
                  •  1 Tbs yeast
                  •  1/4 tsp salt
                  •  1 egg
                  •  Oil for fying.
2. Filling cream:
                •  1 egg
                •  2 egg yolks
                •  3/4 cup sugar
                •  2 cups milk
                •  2 tsp vanilla
                •  1 Tbs butter
3. Chocolate frosting:
                • 100g Dark chocolate
                •  2 Tbs fresh cream
4. Sugar glaze:
                • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
                •  Around 1 Tbs milk ( you might need more)
DIRECTIONS
1. Mix flour with salt and butter.
2. Add sugar, yeast and half milk quantity.
3. Work them.
4. Whisk egg in the other half quantity of milk.
5. Add it to the dough mix.
6. Mix well, dough will be sticky.
7. Cover and let it rest for 2 hrs.
8. In a clean surface,put a bit of flour.
9. Roll out the dough (thickness around 1/2 cm).
10. Cut it into circles.
11. Put them on a tray, cover and let them rest for another 2 hours.
12. Deep fry them in oil on both sides.
Cream filling:
1. Mix the egg with egg yolks, vanilla and sugar.
2. Add milk progressively.
3. When sugar melts, add flour and mix on low fire until you reach custard texture.
4. Add butter and mix.
5. Put it in clean plate covered with parchment paper until it Cools completely.

 

 

Chocolate frosting:
On low heat, melt chocolate with fresh cream.

Sugar glaze:
In a bowl, put powdered sugar, add milk progressively until you have a thick liquid.
